Playschool has undertaken several initiatives to improve road safety along the stretch of Charlestown Road bordering the school. One of the remaining steps is to move the school zone and flashing light towards Phoenixville so that the school zone encompasses the parking lot entrance.  The current school zone is based on the use of the front driveway. All of the permitting is finished, and now we just need to move the flashing light!

The cost of this work by an approved contractor is $8,500. A generous donor has pledged $5,000 but we need to fulfill the remaining $3,500. Any funding in excess of the $3,500 will go towards other safety and maintenance needs at school including safety fencing and fixing the the stage that we use for performances and graduation.
